- API is the Application Programming Interface .

- More over API can also be used in the procedural languages in which it is a collection of functions , routines , data structures etc
- This API is made use in the Android as different levels with enhanced properties .
- Total number API levels released until 2013 is 19 till Kit Kat
- API eases the work of Graphical interface in addition to access the hardware drives or databases through computers.
APK
- APK is the Application Package File which is the extension file format used for all the Applications developed Via Android OS.
- APK files are .zip formats which are Packages usually based on JAR file format which are the executed files of JAVA.
MIDDLE WARE
- Middle ware is also a software application that bridges the gap between the Logical node and Physical node.
- Middle ware also acts a intermediate for establishing a connection between the Operating system or the database and the Applications that are created for Android.
- Middle ware is a invisible package only through this we are able to access the applications installed in the software.
